    • Preparation of tritium penetration barrier(TPB) with high performance on stainless steel special-shaped pieces is a key technology in its engineering application.The types and properties of the tritium penetration barrier are reviewed,and the research progress on preparation technology of the barrier on special-shaped pieces of stainless steel and its advantages and disadvantages are described.Aiming at the preparation of FeAl/Al2O3 composite tritium penetration barrier with high chemical stability and dense structure,two new technologies,metal organic chemical vapor deposition and electroplating from ambient temperature molten salt,are put forward.
