Production Process Optimization of Large-section Forged Bars of High Speed Steel
The production process of large-section forged bars of high speed steel was optimized with the existing open die forging press. Special FM forging method was used to avoid tensile stress generating in the center of large forged bars, thus preventing internal longitudinal cracks caused by carbides.
