Effect of Partial Austenitization in Two-Phase Region on Phase Transition of Continuous Annealing Dual Phase Steel

Abstract
CCT curves of partial austenitization of continuous annealing dual phase steel were compared with that of complete austenitization and the effects of partial austenitization were discussed. The results show that ferrite and bainite transformation zones expanded after partial austenitization, pearlite transformation was inhibited and the grain size diminished, the beginning temperature of martensitic transition decreased from 368 ℃ to 349 ℃. The transition temperature zone of partial martenitization was larger than that of complete martenitization.
