    Preparation of Cobalt Nanoparticles by High Temperature Liquid Phase Diol Reduction Method

    • 1,10-decandiol was used as reducing agent to synthesize magnetic cobalt nanoparticles with the surfactants of oleic acid and ethylene glycol octyl phenyl ether(OP).The structure and valency state of cobalt nanoparticles were measured by XRD and XPS.The morphology was surveyed by TEM and laser particle size detector respectively.The cobalt nanoparticles consisted of hcp phase and the average size was about 30nm.
