Effect of High Speed Shear on Conductive Performance of Carbon Nanotube/Epoxy Resin Composite

    • To improve the disperse ability of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in composites,CNTs were blended with epoxy resins (EP) to prepare conductive composite materials using high speed shear dispersion process. And the effects of shearing time and fraction of CNTs on the conductive performance of the composites was investigated. The results show that when shearing speed is certain, the conductivity of composites is improved with the increase of shearing time. But when shearing time exceed 10 min,the effect is not evident any more. The conductivity of composites is improved with the increase of CNTs content, but when it exceeds 10%,the conductivity of composites does not increase any more.
