    Preparation and Cutting Performance of YT15 Cemented Carbide Tools with ZrN Coating

    • Three kinds of ZrN coatings were prepared on YT15 cemented carbide by using combination technologies of medium frequency magnetron sputtering,and arc ion plating and the physical properties of the coatings were tested.The effect of different ZrN coatings on the cutting performance of the YT15 cemented carbide cutting tools was analyzed,and then compared with that of cutting tool without coating.The results show that the hardness of the YT15 cemented carbide tools deposited by ZrN coatings increased 12 GPa,and the ZrN coating with Zr transition layer had better wear resistance and lower cutting force.
