    Optimization of Ni-P Electroless Composite Plating with SiC Nano-particles

    • Ni-P-SiC nanometer composite coating was prepared by electroless plating method.The effects of SiC concentration,ultrasound time,stirring speed in process of electroless Ni-P-SiC nanometer composite coating on deposition rate and hardness were studied by way of orthogonal experiments.With the increase of SiC concentration and stirring speed,the deposition rate of coating firstly increased and then decreased.With the increase of SiC concentration and ultrasound time,coating hardness firstly increased and then decreased.On this basis,the best process parameters were found to be SiC concentration 2 g·L-1,ultrasound time 30 min and stirring speed 200 r·min-1.Under these conditions,the micro-hardness of composite coating could reach 714.81 HV,and the deposition rate could reach 10.2 mg/(cm2·h).
