Effect of Heat Treatment Technology on Fatigue Lives of 22Cr Duplex Stainless Steel

Fatigue lives of 22Cr duplex stainless steel with different heat treatment technologies were investigated by fatigue experiments.The results show that compared with the as-received sheets,the fatigue life of the 22Cr duplex stainless steel with solution treatment at 1 050 ℃ decreased slightly.The fatigue life of the steel aged at 850 ℃ was improved and the fatigue life of the steel aged at 475 ℃ was increased considerably.A linear relationship existed between the equivalent fatigue limit and the tensile strength of the steel.
