Effect of Deformation on Order-disorder Phase Transformation in CuZnAl Alloy during Heating Process

  • The phase transformation temperature and time of CuZnAl alloy from ordered β′ phase to disordered β phase during heating process was tested by DSC before and after deformation.The transformation activation energy was calculated and the effect of deformation on the phase transformation was discussed.The results show that deformation could decrease the phase transformation temperature and activation energy from ordered β′ phase to disordered β phase of CuZnAl alloy,and shorten the stine of the phase transformation.
